About me

Are you looking for a professional in offshore wind with a high understanding of underwater ecology and expedition preparation and execution? Look no further! I am a dedicated freelancer offering services tailored to the challenges of ecological monitoring in the offshore wind industry.

With years of hands-on experience in the offshore & wind sector from my jobs as R&D lead engineer at Damen Shipyards and technical project manager at The Rich North Sea (an underwater ecology program), I possess comprehensive knowledge of the challenges of offshore work, whether it is the preparation, paperwork, execution or specific monitoring requirements.

I have been responsible for numerous offshore ecology projects, gaining valuable insights in underwater ecology and expedition preparation and execution.

Moreover, my mechanical engineering background from TU Delft has equipped me with the knack for finding solutions. During my numerous times offshore I discovered my true passion for setting up and running technical offshore projects, making sure to find the balance between cost effectiveness and scientific quality of the work.

I am certified for offshore work with valid GWO Basic Safety and OPITO BOSIET and Medical w/Chester step certificates. Further, I have an IPMA-D Project Management and an Autodesk Inventor certificate to ensure my project management and CAD skills.
